A slow-grown, truly free range chicken, reared outdoors on a Pasture for Life certified British farm.
The birds are reared for a minimum of 81 days, beyond the 70-day organic standard, and spend at least 70% of their lives outdoors. They are free from antibiotics and raised slowly, with an emphasis on natural movement and pasture feeding.
The Hubbard birds have longer legs that allow them to range and forage across pasture rich in wildflowers and clover, as well as grubs and worms. Their diet is supplemented with sustainably sourced, low-protein natural cereals.
The extended growing period and active outdoor life produce deeper-flavoured, succulent meat with strong, well-developed bones.
