SearchBone Marrow
Really return to your caveman roots with marrow bones. Much like offal, it’s especially important to source bones and marrow from organic, free-range and grass-fed animals. Bone marrow is the tissue towards the centre of the bone where new blood cells are produced. It’s vital to life and a great indicator of an animal’s health, meaning the healthier the animal the tastier the cut. Bone marrow is a brilliant addition to your immune system. Either roast, before spreading onto sourdough toast, or boil to make a nutritious, hearty bone broth.
The Ethical Butcher champions regenerative farming - a compassionate approach that mimics natural cycles and gives back more to the land than it takes. We prioritise sourcing beef from farms that adopt regenerative farming practices, including holistic land management and rotational grazing techniques. This type of land management encourages diverse plant growth, sequesters carbon, improves soil health, boosts biodiversity, and allows animals to live and roam naturally. When necessary, we supplement our regenerative beef with high-welfare, grass-fed native breed beef from farms and cooperatives transitioning towards regenerative agriculture to support them through this process.
Minimum order is £50. Orders from £50 to £85 will be subject to a £5.99 delivery charge. This is our launch offer which we have extended due to the current lockdown. Our regular shipping charge is £10.
Orders over £85 qualify for free shipping.
Orders are delivered 2 working days after being placed.
We do not offer a Monday delivery. All orders placed between 07:00 Friday and 07:00 Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.
From time to time delivery may take an addition day due to seasonal variations or volume. If you are ordering for a gift or a dinner party we advise to always allow an extra 24 hours. Your meat will stay chilled in our packaging - which allows meat to be in transit for 48 hours.
We do not ship outside of the UK.

Beef Liver
Beef liver is possibly the most nutrient-dense food we could possibly eat. Packing a huge amount of Vitamin A, the B vitamins and even some Vitamin C there really is nothing like it, however, it's not widely eaten today, we want to change that.
Our beef liver is fresh, very fresh!
We will only sell liver that is no more than 4 days old and never frozen. We receive our beef organs the day after slaughter and send them out to our customers the day after that, we believe that is how it should be to maintain the maximum level of nutrients and flavour.
All of our beef and beef offal is 100% pasture-raised and kept to organic principles within a regenerative farming system, the cattle eat a diverse herbal mixture and health is paramount.
Since we realise that many people do not know how to cook this superfood we offer it in two ways, the simple liver in 150g slices for the gourmand or in a kit with a very simple recipe for those new to eating it.
