All of our beef and lamb is 100% pasture fed meaning the animals are fed no grains, many of our producers are certified by the PFLA. All the farms we source from practice various regenerative methods to increases biosequestration of carbon, improve biodiversity and help restore and replenish soil fertility and carbon content.
Our poultry is raised in regenerative systems meaning the birds move across the land restoring soil health and gaining much of their nutrition from the plants and bugs they find there. Their diets are supplemented with a grain based ration that is free from soy. Our chicken lives for 80 to 100+ days according to time of year.
The pork we sell is always outdoor raised and interacts with the land naturally. We only work with farmers who either use a completely soy-free ration or are transitioning into a regenerative system.
The Ethical Butcher is changing how animals and humans coexist in the food chain and how we view our place in nature. Our farmers honour natural systems and farm in ways that increase biodiversity and regenerate the land, having a positive impact on the British countryside.
