Description

A classic British roasting joint, Topside of Beef is lean, tender and full of flavour.

Cut from the inner muscle of the thigh, topside is naturally lean while offering greater tenderness than silverside. It can be roasted and served pink for a traditional Christmas centrepiece, or cooked more slowly for a softer, more tender finish.

Expertly prepared by our butchers, it is an excellent choice for the Christmas table and particularly good for larger gatherings.

Any leftovers are ideal served thinly sliced in roast beef sandwiches with horseradish, pickles and leaves.

The Ethical Butcher champions regenerative farming - a compassionate approach that mimics natural cycles and gives back more to the land than it takes. We prioritise sourcing beef from farms that adopt regenerative farming practices, including holistic land management and rotational grazing techniques. This type of land management encourages diverse plant growth, sequesters carbon, improves soil health, boosts biodiversity, and allows animals to live and roam naturally. When necessary, we supplement our regenerative beef with high-welfare, grass-fed native breed beef from farms and cooperatives transitioning towards regenerative agriculture to support them through this process.

To reduce environmental impact our minimum order value is £37.50 and we deliver to UK mainland addresses only.

Our meat is never frozen. Your items will stay chilled in our packaging - which allows meat to be in transit for 48 hours.
