Beef ox tail
A cut unrivalled in regards to richness of collagen and gelatine beef oxtail is a perfect way to incorporate these two very important nutrients into your diet.
Throughout our 100% grass fed cattle's lives, they use their tails thousands of times to swipe off insects and communicate with each other. This excessive usage is why the muscle in an oxtail is so textured and dark. Due to its muscle density we recommend a slow cook to make a deeply rich and satisfying broth, soup or stew. Knowing you are going to cook it like this, we cut in-between each vertebra to ensure it will fit in to your stock pot.
All of our beef is 100% grass fed without exception. Most of our producers are PFLA certified and many of them are using Holistic Planned Grazing techniques to put more carbon into the ground than the farms release meaning a net loss for the atmosphere.
