Venison haunch boneless
Lean and low in saturated fat, our venison haunch is an excellent cut of deer to roast. Similar in texture to a rump or topside of beef, it is fine-grained yet has plenty of character that is released when seared then roasted until blushing pink in the centre and caramelised on the outside. A haunch of venison is a single muscle that has been masterfully butchered and removed seam by seam from the hind leg of a deer. Our venison haunches are the perfect size for a small family or when entertaining 4-6 people at a dinner party; they cook to medium rare in less than an hour, leaving you with plenty of time for hosting.
Our venison is sourced from Packington Estates. The deer are grazing pasture and browsing the trees in a natural landscape.
