We're proud to have won 3 Great Taste Awards and we're offering these products together at a special price as a celebration.
1. Soy Free Chicken -
101 Day slow grown pasture raised free Range Soy-free chicken - medium (1.8-2 kg)
Slow growing chicken raised on pasture as a part of a rotational grazing system following Holistically Grazed cattle and kept for an absolute minimum of 70 days and now 101 days
Our chicken receive at least 25% of their diet from forged insects, grass, herbs and wildflowers. Their supplemented feed comes from a local feed mill and is being continuously improved as we are able to source more sustainably grown cereals with the eventual aim of producing all of their nutritional requirements on the farm with no external inputs and a fully regenerative system that could be carbon negative.
The taste is simply incredible. The chicken has a high fat content and a richer more intense flavour than you might have ever associated with chicken, this is chicken as it should be.
2. Royal Persian Chicken Kebabs -
x2 kebabs (approx 150g each)
This recipe was developed exclusively for us and is seasoned with the finest grade Persian saffron that we import directly, blended in a yogurt based marinade with an exotic blend of Ras El Hanout spices which roughly translates as 'top of the shop'. This marinade is rich deep, perfumed and exotic. Serve grilled or cooked on the BBQ with couscous rice or flatbread and maybe a scattering of pomegranate seeds.
3. Iron Age Pork Rib Eye - x 2 Mangalitsa pig rib eye steak (min 420g total)
Pork rib eye steaks are the ultimate luxury cut from the pig. Rich marbling of sweet fat and succulent meat makes this cut a versatile steak that can be seared on the outside and served pink in the middle as you would a beef steak.
We're now getting Mangalitsa pork from our supplier which is often called the Kobe beef of pork as it's known for its rich marbling. Mangalitsa are originally a Hungarian pig and are unusual looking as they are covered in curly fur like a sheep making them well suited to a life outdoors year round.
